Tony Cernuto Takes Some Chips

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We caught the action on fourth street when Bertrand Grospellier bet and his three opponents called.

On fifth John Cernuto checked to Grospellier bet and Brian Hastings called. Cernuto raised it up, Dan Shak folded and Grospellier called. Hastings folded to the raise as well and two players remained on sixth street.

Cernuto bet on sixth street and Grospellier called. On seventh street Cernuto bet again and Grospellier shrugged as he made the call.

Dan Shak: {X-}{X-} / {4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} --fold
Bertrand Grospellier: {X-}{X-} / {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {X-}
Brian Hastings: {X-}{X-} / {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} --fold
Cernuto: {X-}{X-} / {3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {X-}

Cernuto turned over {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} and with three of a kind he won this pot.

Six Push-Up For $100

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

"We need an unbiased judge!" Dee Tiller just shouted, as we rushed over to see what was going on.

Frank Kassela was appointed to be the unbiased to judge, and the bet was as following.

Tiller had bet Chris Tryba he couldn't do six push-ups for $100, and the bet was on.

Kassela got on his knees to watch Tryba do the push-ups while Tiller shouted, "His nose has to touch the ground!"

Tryba barely did seven push-ups and Tiller paid up. Tryba, with a face as red as a tomato, was filled with joy over accomplishing the bet but he also felt embarrassed the line Tiller set was so close.

"I'm embarrassed!" Tryba yelled, but he did collect $100.

Ashton Gives Up On the End

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Matthew Ashton: {X-}{X-} / {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades} / {X-}
Phil Ivey: {X-}{X-} / {2-Diamonds}fold
Henry Orenstein: {X-}{X-} / {8-Hearts}fold

Mikail Tulchinskiy: {X-}{X-} / {J-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} / {X-}

Phil Ivey was the bring-in, and then Henry Orenstein made the call behind him. Next to act was Bill Chen and he completed. Mikail Tulchinskiy called, then Matthew Ashton raised. Ivey and Orenstein folded before Chen and Tulchinskiy called.

On fourth street, Ashton led with a bet and was called by both of his opponents. On fifth street, Ashton led again with a bet, but only Tulchinskiy called this time.

On sixth street, Ashton bet, and Tulchinskiy called, but then Ashton slowed down with a check after receiving his seventh card. Tulchinskiy fired a bet, and Ashton folded.
