Cassidy Doubles

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

We found Joe Cassidy all in on a board of {5-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Cassidy: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Cassidy had two pair, while his opponent held a wrap. The turn was heartbreaker for Cassidy, the {7-Hearts}, leaving him drawing slim since his opponent held one of his outs. The {j-Hearts} river saved him by filling him up.

At another table, Don Nguyen busted another opponent to move to nearly 200,000 when he got top set in against top two.

Dykshteyn Gets River Value

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Ryan Goindoo was tanking against a bet of 22,600 against Ruslan Dykshteyn on a board of {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. He agonized over the call, peeking at his opponent to get a read. He cut out the necessary chips, raised them up, then brought them back as if changing his mind. In the end, he did drop them in, losing to {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the nuts.

Lawson Lures Billirakis

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Steve Billirakis bet 7,200 from the small blind, and Ted Lawson called from the button on a board of {8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs}. On the {8-Hearts} river, Billirakis put Lawson in for his last 15,000 or so, and Lawson snapped with {k-}{8-}{6-}{7-} for kings full. Billirakis showed {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{q-}{9-} for the nut flush.

Dykshteyn Gets There to Take Biggest Pot of Tournament

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Ruslan Dykshteyn
Ruslan Dykshteyn

We found Ruslan Dykshteyn potting it over a bet of about 20,000 from Ryan Goindoo on an {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop. Goindoo shoved all in for well over 100,000, and Dykshteyn called.

Dykshteyn: {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Goindoo: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{x-Spades}

Dykshteyn had a gutter and a flush draw, but Goindoo had a set of aces and the lead. The {3-Spades} changed nothing on the turn, but the {7-Clubs} filled Dykshteyn's straight and caused Goindoo to let out an exclamation of disappointment, having gotten it in with the nuts for a massive pot and come up short.

Stout Pots the Turn

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A player opened for 2,500 in the hijack, and Matt Stout potted to 9,300 on the button. JC Tran called out of the blinds, and the opener called. On the {2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, Tran checked, the hijack bet 13,500, and Stout was the only caller. An {a-Clubs} caused the hijack to pat the table, and he quickly folded when Stout potted.
