Lybaert Steps Into the Lead

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Bart Lybaert opened the action out of the small blind with a raise to 18,000 and the big blind three-bet to 42,000. Lybaert called to see the {7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and checked, the big blind bet 40,000 and the Belgian min raised to 80,000. The big blind eventually folded and was then greeted with an offer.

"You can pick one card," Lybaert said.

"Oh you *** (insert your favorite swear word here), I knew it," the opponent replied. "Okay, I'll take the bottom one."

Lybaert turned over the {K-Spades} ....

Gregg Empties the Clip and his Stack

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Anthony Gregg
Anthony Gregg

Tony Gregg min raised and then fired 14,500 on the {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Sean Prendiville one seat over just flat called and did so again for 24,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. Prendiville didn't go anywhere and the {A-Diamonds} completed the board. Gregg moved all in and the Irishman snap called with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, Gregg was caught bluffing and turned over {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

"I wish the river would have been a blank so I could give up," he said to me before heading to the payout desk.

Idris Gencoglu is over the moon after doubling up to 250,000 thanks to a fortunate deal.

Gencoglu found aces on the button as the big blind picked up ace-king, the chips went into the middle, aces held and Gencoglu doubled in the last level of the night and is one of the big stacks.
