Lybaert Steps Into the Lead

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Bart Lybaert opened the action out of the small blind with a raise to 18,000 and the big blind three-bet to 42,000. Tony Gregg min raised and then fired 14,500 on the {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Sean Prendiville one seat over just flat called and did so again for 24,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. Prendiville didn't go anywhere and the {A-Diamonds} completed the board. Gregg moved all in and the Irishman snap called with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, Gregg was caught bluffing and turned over {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

"I wish the river would have been a blank so I could give up," he said to me before heading to the payout desk.
