Lybaert Keeps Stacking

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Bart Lybaert
Bart Lybaert

Bart Lybaert raised to 9,500 from the cutoff and the button three-bet to 19,500. The big blind moved all in for 45,000 and the Belgian four-bet to 70,000 in order to scare off the button. Showdown:

Lybaert: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Big blind: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

There wasn't really any threat on the {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board and the Belgian is among the biggest stacks in the room.

Thomas is Toast

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Julian Thomas has been eliminated. He three-bet shoved {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} into pocket aces and just checked on fellow countryman Khiem Nguyen, who is also rather short stacked. "Ah well, at least I can play the 6max tomorrow then. That is more fun anyways," he said before exiting the tournament area.

Moseley Wins Three Way All In

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Steven Moseley has just knocked out a short stack and Vladimir Shchemelev. It was the Russian who raised from early position, the short stack shoved the button with {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Moseley reshoved one seat over with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Shchemelev called off with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} but could not improve on the {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Moseley won the next hand as well to add some more chips to his stack.
