Good Timing

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

After losing a race to see his stack dip down to 56,000, Matt Brady scored a double up when he picked up {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and was up against a bigger stacks {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. The board would run out {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{A-Spades}{9-Hearts} to secure the pot for the long time pro best known for his $1,000,000 payday at the 2008 Aruba Classic. This is Brady's 19th career WSOP cash and he is coming off an excellent 2013 WSOP that saw him make the money on five separate occasions.

Getting a Bit Short

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Julian Thomas lost with pocket nines versus pocket eights and since moved all in twice to grab the blinds and antes.

Allen Kessler dropped all the way back to 24,500 when he three-bet shoved into an open raise from Randy "nanonoko" Lew. The latter called with {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} but was unable to improve against the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} of Kessler on a {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} board.

Plenty of Greenbacks

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Almost two days of poker and $5,384 in prize money. Not a bad job if you can get it.
