The Same Battlefield Again

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

In the very last hand of the previous level, Jonathan Dimmig and Christopher Keller were at it and they just knocked heads again. Even before the {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop there was already 250,000 in the middle of the table, then Keller led for 105,000 out of the small blind. Dimmig made a raise just above the minimum and his opponent tank-folded.

Overpair Folds Out Overpair

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

A player in early position opened with a min-raise and Bart Lybaert three-bet to 55,000. The original raiser called and the flop came {3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. It was checked to Lybaert and he quickly announced all in with his massive stack of over 800,000, easily covering the 390,000 remaining in front of his opponent.

Action stalled for a couple minutes while the player thought about the call and another player called the clock. He eventually made the fold and said, "I put you on ace-queen." Lybaert flipped over {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and his opponent said that he had jacks.

David Randall Eliminated by John Moore

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

David Randall moved all in for his last 76,000 and was called by John Moore. Randall had {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} and was ahead of the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} held by Moore. That changed quickly on the {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, however, which gave Moore a flush.

"You have an out," said Moore. He was correct as the {4-Spades} would give Randall a straight flush. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and the river was the {8-Clubs} though and Randall's tournament came to an end. In the meantime, Moore eclipses the one million-chip mark.

Prendiville vs. Racener

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Sean Prendiville opened the action with a raise to 26,000 from under the gun and one seat over, John Racener called. Everyone else got out of the way and we saw the {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} flop. Prendiville bet 40,000 and Racener called, same applied for the {10-Hearts} turn when the Irish made it 80,000 to go.

On the {9-Diamonds} river, Prendiville grabbed chips and fired 140,000. That sent Racener into the tank and he wouldn't muck his cards for five minutes.

Burleson Doubles with Four-Bet Shove

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The player in the cutoff made a min-raise to 24k and the button player raised it up to 48k. Action folded to Colby Burleson in the big blind who four-bet all in with his 188k. The cutoff took little time folding and the button took a minute before calling and showing {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to Burleson's {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The pocket pair held through the {5-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board and Burleson was given renewed life in the tournament.

Prendiville Busts Truong

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Gennady Shimelfarb opened for 30,000 in middle position, and Patrick Truong shoved from the cutoff for 111,000. Sean Prendiville made the call out of the big blind and Shimelfarb called as well. Prendiville bet out 125,000 on the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and Shimelfarb patted the table before mucking his hand.

Truong: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Prendiville: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

"That's not good for me," Truong said, seeing he needed runner-runner. The {4-Diamonds} turn left him drawing dead.
