Michael Stembera Eliminated in 70th Place ($103,025)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Michael Stembera - 70th place
Michael Stembera - 70th place

From under the gun, Aaron Kaiser opened to 115,000 and Jason Weber called before Brian Hastings three-bet to 380,000 from the button. With the action on Michael Stembera in the small blind, he moved all in for 640,000 only to have Kaiser iso-shove for 1,665,000 to force both Weber and Hastings out.

Stembera: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Kaiser: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

With Stembera in a world of trouble with his dominated underpair, the dealer spread a {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board to send Stembera out in 70th place for a $103,025 payday as Kaiser climbed to 2.4 million in chips.

Kyle Bowker Eliminated in 71st Place ($103,025)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kyle Bowker - 71st place
Kyle Bowker - 71st place

Thomas Sarra Jr opened to 115,000 and Kyle Bowker moved all in for 540,000 from the hijack. Sarra Jr went into the tank for a few moments before eventually making the call to put Bowker at risk.

Sarra Jr: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Bowker: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

With Bowker in great shape to double, the {7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop saw Sarra Jr spike his two-outer and now leave Bowker needing to find one of the case kings in the deck.

The turn of the {8-Hearts} gave Bowker outs to a chop with any ten making a straight on the board, but when the {3-Clubs} landed on the river, Bowker headed to the rail in 71st place for a $103,025 payday as Sarra Jr climbed to 4.27 million in chips.

Anh Van Nguyen Eliminated in 73rd Place ($85,812); Benjamin Gold Eliminated in 72nd Place ($103,025)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Benjamin Gold - 72nd Place
Benjamin Gold - 72nd Place

Vitaly Lunkin opened to 105,000 from early position and it folded to Anh Van Nguyen who moved all in for 550,000 from the cutoff. Benjamin Gold moved all in over the top for 1.665 million from the small blind. Christopher Greaves went into the tank in the big blind for quite some time before moving all in over the top as well. Lunkin folded and all three hands were tabled.

Van Nguyen: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Gold: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Greaves: {A-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{A-Spades}, giving Greaves top two pair and a tight grip on the hand. Greaves had both of his opponents covered, meaning they would need to find improvement on the final two streets in order to stay alive. The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn, keeping Greaves out in front.

The {3-Spades} finished the board, meaning both Van Nguyen and Gold would be eliminated from play. Greaves took down the massive pot and now has about 4.89 million in chips.

Gabe Paul Eliminated in 74th Place ($85,812)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Gabe Paul
Gabe Paul

Gabe Paul opened from middle position with a raise to 110,000 and Kyle Keranen three-bet from the big blind to 300,000. Paul made the call, the dealer spread a {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Keranen bet out 350,000.

Paul contemplated for a few moments and then moved all in for roughly 1,480,000 with Keranen making the call.

Paul: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Keranen: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

With Paul drawing to a heart or an ace to stay alive, the {5-Diamonds} on the turn now have him outs to chop with any eight or three seeing both players split the pot.

Unfortunately for Paul, the river brought the {7-Clubs} and he was sent to the rail in 74th place for a $85,812 payday as Keranen climbed to 10.3 million — the first player to cross the eight-figure mark for the tournament.

Level 25 Expires: The Last Woman Standing Falls, Accidental Exposure & More

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Maria Ho
Maria Ho

The returning 79 players began Day 6 with one hour remaining in Level 25, and now that those 60 minutes have passed, it's time for the first 20-minute break of the day. It may have only been an hour, but there was plenty of action in that time.

Straight out of the gate Jason Leifer was ousted in 79th place after being on the wrong end of a set-over-set situation, and then Zachary Walker followed him out the door in 78th after failing to win a race with pocket sevens.

Maria Ho, the last woman standing in the field, was the next to go after she got her short stack all in preflop holding the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} only to run into the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} of Zachary Hirst. Ho, who was also the last woman standing in the 2007 WSOP Main Event, took home $85,812 for her 77th-place finish.

Not long after, a hand took place between Daniel Wilson and William Cole that saw the former win and show one card. Then, the other card was accidentally exposed to Cole by the dealer.

Toss in the eliminations of Vadzim Markushevski and Henrik Hecklen in 76th and 75th place respectively, and that means five players fell in the first hour of play. Action will resume shortly, but while you wait, check out this interview with online poker legend Scott Palmer, who is making a deep run in the Main Event:

Force Shoves River, Kamran Tank-Folds

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Leif Force
Leif Force

Michael Kamran raised to 85,000 from middle position only to have Leif Force three-bet to 205,000 from the next seat over. Kamran called and the two were off to the flop.

The dealer produced {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} on the felt and Kamran quickly checked. Force fired 180,000 and Kamran called. The {5-Hearts} came down on fourth street and Kamran checked for a second time. Force moved 525,000 into the middle of the table and Kamran thought for about a minute before tossing out a call.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Kamran checked. Force wasted no time moving all in for 1.465 million effective. Kamran went deep into the tank, contemplating a call for his tournament life. Kamran thought for well over five minutes, bleeding the hand into the break. Ultimately, he opted to fold his hand and Force was pushed the sizable pot. He now has about 6.25 million in chips.

Smith Nears Six Million

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Dan Smith raised to 90,000 from the hijack and Gal Erlichman called from the cutoff after which Maximilian Senft called on the button.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Smith bet 200,000, which was only called by Erlichman.

On the turn the {2-Diamonds} hit and Smith paused for a bit before betting 400,000. Erlichman cut out the call, played around with his chips but ultimately he folded.

"I had a big one," Smith smiled, as he raked in the big.

"I had a small one," Erlichman responded with a similar smile, but only one of them was truly happy with the result of this hand.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, and Hecklen was eliminated in 75th place.

Vadzim Markushevski - 76th place

William Cole opened to 90,000 in the hijack, and Vadzim Markushevski flatted from the cutoff. From the small blind, Michael Finstein three-bet to 250,000, and Cole called. Markushevski immediately shoved all in for about 950,000 more, and Finstein thought briefly before gathering all of his chips and slowly pushing them into the middle. Cole quickly mucked.

Finstein: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Markushevski: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, no help to Markushevski.

Maria Ho was under the gun and moved all in for 320,000. Zachary Hirst called from the hijack and the rest of the table folded.

Hirst: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Ho: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Hirst's pocket queens were in a dominating position heading to the flop and he extended his lead even further by making top set with {5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

The {7-Diamonds} dropped down on the turn giving Ho four to a diamond flush. It was not meant to be, however, as the {A-Hearts} finished the board and Ho was eliminated from play. Hirst picked up the pot and now has 2.195 million in chips.
