Tommy Hang Goes for the Max, Gets Paid

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Tommy Hang and Josh Arieh were on the last betting round with 28,000 in the middle. Hang went for the maximum bet and Arieh was pained. He couldn't escape the temptation but it proved to be an expensive showdown for him.

Hang showed {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Arieh had nothing that would beat eighty-six smooth. Arieh counted a huge stack of his chips and shipped it Hang's way.

Badeucey

Aaron Steury raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Jason Stockfish called in the cutoff. Steury drew one and Stockfish drew two.

Steury bet 1,500 and Stockfish called as both players drew one and checked.

On the final draw, both players took one again, and after Steury checked, Stockfish bet 3,000. Steury called all in for 1,200 and the cards were tabled.

Stockfish fanned his {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} for an eight low and a three-card six.

Steury tabled his {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a badugi, and the pot was chopped up.
