Sleet Succombs to Bennett

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Mark Sleet moved all in and Steven Bennett reshoved before the rest of the table folded.

Mark Sleet: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Steven Bennett: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Board: {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}

"My cards are live," said Sleet before the flop was dealt, and he called for a 'jack one time' on the river, but he got no help from the board and was the next player to exit Event #13 and make their way to the payout desk.

River Rescue for Barrett

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Mark Barrett was sitting with about 50,000 in chips when he moved all in and was called by one opponent.

Mark Barrett: {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Board: {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Spades}

Barrett celebrated as he hit a two pair on the river, and with neither player holding a spade card for a flush, it was enough for him to survive and double up to 120,000.

Shack Has No Luck

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Just minutes after losing a huge pot against Justin Young, Andrew Shack has been eliminated in unfortunate circumstances.

Romain Villar called the all-in with {A-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and was ahead of Shack's {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and while Shack took the lead on the flop it was once again the river card that made him lose the pot, this time around it was an ace that fell to give his opponent top pair.
