Brereton Takes Chip Lead

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Luke Brereton raised to 32,000 from the cutoff and Joey Weissman called in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Weissman check-called the 35,000 bet of Brereton.

The turn brought them the {8-Diamonds}, on which they both checked to the {6-Hearts} on the river. Weissman bet 76,000 and Brereton called. Weissman tabled {9-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the turned two pair but was beaten by the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} of Brereton who had rivered a set of sixes.
