Double KO for Laka

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Edwin Pairavi shipped all in for 40,500 from early position and David Laka just flat-called directly to his left. Heidi May also moved all in for 41,000 on the button and Laka had to call just 500 more before the cards were tabled.

David Laka: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Heidi May: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Edwin Pairavi: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} which gave May some more outs but Laka was still in the lead. The {10-Clubs} landed on the turn and the {a-Clubs} completed the board. Although May hit her ace and Pairavi hit a flush, Laka made the best flush and eliminated both of his opponents.

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Tom Cannuli moved all in from the button for 85,000 and Seth Davies called from the small blind. The players then revealed their hands and Cannuli was at risk.

Seth Davies: {q-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Tom Cannuli: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades} and a pair of queens was good for Davies to take down the pot.

Kenney Felts Seidel

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A few minutes after Brynn Kenney doubled up Humberto Brenes he called Erik Seidels all in. This time he took down the pot though as Seidel could not connect with the board after shoving {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} from the button. Kenney's {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} was good after the board came {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} and Seidel was eliminated.

Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

The action folded to Kristen Bicknell on the button who raised it up to 13,000. Stephen Chidwick defended from the big blind and the flop fell {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Chidwick check to Bicknell who continued for 14,000 and Chidwick called.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and both players checked to the {q-Hearts} on the river. Chidwick checked for the third time and Bicknell slid in a bet of 35,000. Chidwick instantly tossed in a single chip to call and Bicknell tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Chidwick rolled over {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a straight and took down the pot.

Ilani Rolling After Dinner Break

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ran Ilani
Ran Ilani

Ran Illani was in the small blind and looked at Yifu He's 50,500 stack in the big blind. He announced all in and Yifu He then snap-called. Players flipped their hands and Yifu He was at risk.

Ran Ilani: {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Yifu He: {9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The flop came down {5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Ilani needed help. The turn delivered that help with the {q-Spades} and his opponent was drawing dead to the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Ilani has eclipsed the 500,000 mark and will be someone to watch as players draw closer to the end of Day 2.

Blair Takes Down a Couple Before Showdown

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With around 35,000 in the middle, the flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Eric Blair checked from early position. Eric Bonin bet 10,000 on the button and Blair check-raised to 43,000. Bonin made the call and the {6-Clubs} paired the board on the turn. Blair announced all in and Bonin tanked for three minutes before folding with only 40,000 chips behind. Bonin would go on to be eliminated the next hand.

Just a couple of hands later, Ran Ilani opened to 12,000 from early position and Mao Qiu called in the hijack. Blair also called from the big blind and the flop fell {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The action checked around to Qiu who tossed in a bet of 15,000. Blair called and Ilani elected to get out of the way.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {4-Spades} on the river. Blair led out for 30,500 and Qiu instantly mucked his hand, sending another pot to Blair.
