Sinclair Wins Another Pot

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jack Sinclair seems to have ultimate control over his table.

Sinclair opened to 1,800 and got calls from the players in the cutoff and on the button. The flop was {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and all three players checked to see the {4-Clubs} turn appear.

Sinclair made a delayed c-bet of 5,000 and just the player on the button called the bet. The player also called the 3,000 bet on the {10-Spades} river, only to muck his cards after seeing Sinclair open up {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Phill Hellmuth is also on the table of Sinclair and has a little below starting stack.

Martini Loses Some Chips

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

With already 6,800 in the middle and a board showing {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Julien Martini bet 1,200 after his opponent checked and the latter called. Both players checked on the {4-Clubs} as well on the {5-Hearts} after Martini gave it some thought.

His opponent{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} tabled and it was enough to make Martini send his hand into the muck.

Heimiller Out

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

With a board showing {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and around 7,500 already in the middle, the first player checked and Dan Heimiller moved all in. His opponent snap-called and the players tabled their cards.

Dan Heimiller: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
His opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Heimiller was in bad shape to double up as his opponent held top pair with a better kicker. The {10-Diamonds} river brought him no help and Heimiller was eliminated from the tournament.

Soverel Triples Up

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

A player raised to 2,300 and Sam Soverel pushed all-in for his last 5,000. He got two calls and one was from the initial raiser.

The flop was {4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and the initial raiser checked. The other player in the hand bet 3,500, but the initial raiser put in a raise to 14,700. His opponent folded and he was just left with Soverel.

Sam Soverel: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Initial Raiser: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {3-Hearts} and {9-Hearts} and that meant that Soverel would triple up.
