Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mike Matusow opened with a raise and he was called by Scott Horowitz who committed the rest of his stack from the small blind. Kevin Malis called from the big blind.

Matusow and Malis checked down until the board was {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} then checked again.

"Full house," Malis said showing {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

"Look at this hand," Matusow said showing {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. "I haven't won a single hand of Omaha all day.

Horowitz accepted his fate and mucked his hand.

"Oh great, I bubbled a pay jump?" Horowitz said looking at the close before heading to the payout desk.

Williamson Doubles, Postponing His Brunch Further

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

On a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Robert Williamson III put out a bet of 17,000 against Per Hildebrand. Hildebrand then raised, making it 42,000 before Williamson moved all in for 118,800. Hildebrand then dropped into the tank and thought for nearly a minute before calling.

Robert Williamson III: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Per Hildebrand: {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

"Come on!" Williamson said. "Pair the board!"

The dealer complied when the {9-Spades} rolled off on the turn and that would leave Hildebrand drawing dead and rendering the {6-Diamonds} on the river just a formality.

"So much for brunch, huh?" Scott Horowitz said to Williamson's wife who was on the rail.

"He promised me!" Williamson's wife responded. "He said 'just five minutes honey, I'll go in there and be right out and we'll go to brunch.'"

It appears as if those brunch plans will be postponed further as Williamson doubled to one of the largest stacks in the room.
