Racener Gets a Fold

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Yoon Park opened from middle position and John Racener called in the cutoff. The big blind came along too and the flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} leading to a big blind check. Park bet 3,500 and only Racener called. Both players checked the {8-Clubs} turn and the river was the {J-Spades}.

Park checked, Racener bet 5,500 and Park thought for a long while before sending his cards to the muck.

Zinno Climbing Up

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Anthony Zinno was involved with two other players on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}. One was all-in and Zinno was heads up against Aslessio Isaia for the side pot. There, Zinno checked, then called a bet from Isaia.

On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Zinno checked again. Isaia bet, but this time Zinno raised, making it two bets. Isaia called.

On the {6-Diamonds} river, Zinno bet again, but this time Isaia mucked. Zinno took down the big side pot and his {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} was good to beat his opponents {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades} for the main pot as well.

Omaha 8 or Better

With the board reading {Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and more than 10,000 in the middle, Ylon Schwartz checked from the small blind, a player in middle position checked and Devin Looney bet on the button. Both his opponents called and the river brought the {2-Diamonds}.

Schwartz took the betting lead, the next player folded and Looney called. Schwartz tabled {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the wheel and the scoop and commented, "I probably would have raised the turn if I had more chips."

Some Counts from 8-Game Mix

Kim Doubles Through Glaser

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Kristan Lord opened with a raise to 1,600 from under the gun and action folded around to Wook Kim in the cutoff. He moved all in for 6,500. Benny Glaser was in the big blind and he thought for several moments before just calling the shove. Lord then thought for a bit before deciding to fold his hand.

Benny Glaser: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Wook Kim: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} which was good to put Kim in the lead with a pair of queens. He held on through the {5-Clubs} turn and the {5-Spades} river and that would allow him to double up through Glaser.
