Ray Dehkharghani Eliminated in 9th Place ($18,955)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 2,500 ante
Ray Dehkharghani
Ray Dehkharghani

Action folded to Ray Dehkharghani and he moved all in from the small blind for approximately 110,000. Dario Sammartino called and patted after Dehkharghani pitched one and tabled {10-}{8-}{7-}{2-}. Sammartino had a rough pat with {q-}{9-}{8-}{3-}{2-} so Dehkharghani had quite a few cards he could catch. He peeled what he said was a three across spade.

He threw the {8-Spades} in and shook everyone's hand.

James Alexander
James Alexander

Dario Sammartino opened for 25,000 and James Alexander called on the button. Ray Dehkharghani made it three from the big blind and took a card. Sammartino did likewise and Alexander checked. Dehkharghani checked and Sammartino slid in 85,000. Alexander stared at him and the Italian stared right back. They exchanged a few words we couldn't quite hear and then Alexander slid in a call. Dehkharghani mucked.

Sammartino must have indicated Alexander had the winner because he didn't turn his cards over and mucked them when Alexander tabled {10-}{9-}{8-}{7-}{4-}.

Rast Doubles Through Hall

Brian Rast
Brian Rast

On the very first hand, Galen Hall opened from the button to 23,000. Brian Rast three-bet to 93,000 from the small blind. The short stack at this table John Hennigan folded his big blind.

Hall asked how much Rast had, and after a short pause he moved all in. Rast called.

Rast drew one and Hall showed {j-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{2-}

Rast had {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. "Jack is good, right?" he said.

He peeled his card. "Oh no, it's paint." He said as he checked the suit of Hall's jack which was the {j-Spades}. "Ok that's good," he said indicating that it wasn't a spade.

He turned over the {j-Diamonds}, eliciting a loud "F*ck!" from Hall as he is now left with just four big blinds.
