Rosenblum Wins With the Kicker

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Sameer Aljanedi raised to 50,000 from the under-the-gun position and Peter Rosenblum called on the button. The flop came {9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Aljanedi continued with another bet of 50,000 and Rosenblum called again.

They both checked through the {6-Diamonds} on the turn to the {6-Hearts} on the river. Aljanedi bet another 50,000 and Rosenblum called.

"Ace-high." Aljanedi said.

"Kicker?" Rosenblum asked.

Aljanedi tabled {A-Spades}{8-Spades} but was beaten by the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Rosenblum.

Alexis Gavin opened with a raise to 32,000 and she met a three-bet from Jonathan Abdellatif on the button to 86,000. Action folded back to Gavin who shoved for roughly 229,000 and Abdellatif quickly called.

Alexis Gavin: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Jonathan Abdellatif: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

There was a little sweat for Gavin when the flop came {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} but the board rounded out with the {2-Clubs} and the {8-Diamonds} and that allowed Gavin to double up to right around 500,000.

On another table, Lee Markholt was just sent to the payout desk after busting in a hand versus Jeremie Sarda.
