Chan's Accidental Raise Pays Off

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Ying Chan opened with a raise to 75,000 and action folded around to Hugo Alfaro who raised, making it 185,000. Chan was trying to call, but accidentally raised, making it 300,000 total, enough for a min raise. Alfaro quickly called.

The flop was {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and both players checked, then checked again on the {10-Hearts} turn.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Alfaro checked a third time, then folded to a bet of 600,000 from Chan, so Chan took down the pot.

Baxter Runs a Monster Bluff on Hada

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Catching the action on the turn with a heap of chips already in the middle of the table, Bryden Baxter was first to act against Michael Hada. The board showed {K-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Baxter checked it over to Hada who bet, making it 90,000. Baxter then check-raised, making it 250,000 to go. Hada thought for a while before calling.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Baxter continued, firing 525,000. Hada dropped deep into the tank.

"You know I have a flush right?" Hada said looking at Baxter during his tank. After a couple of minutes, Hada folded, flashing the two hearts in his hand for a flush.

Baxter smirked, then flashed his own {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for complete air and took down the pot.
