Finger Does Not Budge

Level 9 : 400/800, 0 ante

The board read {4-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Richard Tuhrim fired out a pot-sized bet into a pot that was 29,600. Martin Finger thought for several moments and then made the call for a large portion of his remaining stack.

Tuhrim announced, "Queen-high" and Finger then tabled {6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades} for two pair, which was enough to take down a good sized pot close to the money bubble.

Stavrakis Wins Monster Pot on Soft Bubble

Level 9 : 400/800, 0 ante

Filippos Stavrakis won a huge pot four spots off the money. The pot was about 7,000 on the flop with the community cards spread {10-Spades}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Stavrakis checked, his opponent bet, Stavrakis raised and from that moment on, both players kept potting until all the chips were in the middle.

Filippos Stavrakis: {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} giving Stavrakis a straight to win the big 125,000 pot and bust his opponent. The field is now three places away from the money.

Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

Ben Hunholz raised to 1,500 preflop and got called by Felipe Ramos, a player in the hijack and the player in the big blind to take the action four-way.

Hunholz continued with a bet of 2,500 on the {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop and this time Ramos was the only player to call.

After Hunholz checked to Ramos on the {10-Hearts} turn, the Brazilian made it 5,500. Hunholz looked at his stack and threw in the call.

The river was the {A-Hearts} to make the board even wetter and Hunholz announced that he was all-in for his final 14,500. Ramos announced he had a really tough decision to make and took his time. He eventually folded {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} face up and Hunholz was friendly enough to show the {Q-Spades}.

West Sends Alexander to the Rail

Level 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

After seeing four limpers Dejuante Alexander raised to 3,900 and Tom West from early position was the only limper to stick around. The flop came down {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and West put Alexander all in for his last 4,500.

Alexander called and showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a flopped set. West then turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flopped flush. The {9-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Diamonds} on the river did not change anything and West took down the pot.
