Cordell gets the Call from Heimiller

The board read and Dan Heimiller checked to Mike Cordell who bet 3,000 into a pot that was 6,250.

Heimiller took several moments before eventually making the call and Cordell then tabled for aces over nines. Heimiller mucked his hand and Cordell pulled in a nice-sized pot.

Right after doubling up the defending champion of this tournament, Tyler Groth, Vincent Bartello doubled another player at the table.

Bartello raised to 600 and a player on the other side of the table called. A couple spots later, there was a three-bet to 2,850 and Bartello was the only one to call the bet.

The flop came down and Bartello checked. The short-stacked player pushed all in for 4,425 and Bartello made the call.
