Hinds Makes a Move and Gets Lucky

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Darren Rabinowitz opened from the cutoff and Henri Hinds three-bet to 13,000 on the button. Esther Taylor was in the small blind and four-bet shoved all in for 33,500. Rabinowitz quickly folded but Hinds was left with a decision. He asked for a count and then weighed his options, eventually deciding to make the call.

Henri Hinds: {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Esther Taylor: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

"I have two live cards," Hinds said with joy. The flop came {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Hinds picked up a flush draw to go with his two live cards. The turn brought the {5-Clubs}, giving Hinds a flush but Taylor still had a bigger flush draw. The {5-Spades} on the river was not what Taylor was looking for as she was sent to the payout desk at the hands of Hinds.
