Flush is Good for Clements

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Scott Clements
Scott Clements

Scott Clements raised to 11,000 from middle position and DJ MacKinnon called from the small blind. Lexy Gavin called from the big blind and they went three handed to the {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. It checked to Clements who bet 15,000 and MacKinnon called.

They went heads up to the {q-Spades} turn and both players checked. They knuckled the felt once again when the {2-Hearts} hit the river. "Aces" announced MacKinnon but Clements tabled his {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a king high flush to take the pot.

Singh Doubles Through Ryynanen

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

There were about 60,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} when we got to the table. Pushpinder Singh checked from middle position to his lone opponent, Sampo Ryynanen, who was on the button. Ryynanen bet 40,000 and Singh called for his remaining 36,000 to put himself at risk.

Pushpinder Singh: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Sampo Ryynanen: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Singh was way ahead with trip tens and Ryynanen needed a lot of help to stack him. The {3-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river changed nothing, so Singh took the pot to double up.

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Ryan Riess was in the small blind and got his short stack in before the flop against two players, Victor Ramdin in the hijack and Jody Fayant in the cutoff.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Ramdin checked, and Fayant checked behind.

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} and Ramdin bet 15,000. Fayant clicked it back to 30,000, and after brief consideration, Ramdin folded.

"Full house," said Fayant as he got ready to table his hand.

"I've got a full house, too," Riess replied with a smile.

Ryan Riess: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Jody Fayant: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Riess had the pot all but locked up and Fayant needed the case ten in order to stack him. The {3-Spades} hit the river and Riess took the pot to triple up.

Gilbert Eliminates O'Rourke

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Joseph Floyd raised to 10,000 from the hi-jack and James Gilbert called from the cutoff. Christopher O'Rourke called from the small blind and Mark Wahba called from the big. They went four handed to the {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop and O'Rourke moved all in for 42,000.

It folded to Gilbert who snap called turning over {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} for middle set and O'Rourke showed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}. The turn {8-Spades} and river {4-Clubs} were no help to O'Rourke and he was eliminated in 48th place taking home $3,675 for his efforts.
