Joseph Schulman Eliminated in 8th Place ($76,204)

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Joseph Schulman
Joseph Schulman

Hand #20:

Scott Hamilton-Hill raised to 285,000 from under the gun, Bill Bennett called from the small blind, and Joseph Schulman called from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Bennett bet 700,000, Schulman shoved for about 1.5 million, Hamilton-Hill folded, and Bennett called to put Schulman at risk.

Bill Bennett: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Joseph Schulman: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Bennett had a commanding lead with the larger of the two sets and Schulman, who found himself on the unfortunate end of the cooler, needed a lot of help to survive. The {A-Clubs} turn and {2-Clubs} river changed nothing, so Bennett took the pot to end Schulman's deep run in this event.
