Pot-Limit Omaha

Eli Elezra limped the button and Dan Cates raised the pot in the small blind to 10,500. The big blind folded and Elezra called.

"I'm going to f*ck you up this hand," said Elezra, mimicking something Cates had said to him four hands previously. The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop.

"I hope not," said Cates who checked. Elezra bet pot 22,500 and Cates called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}. Cates checked. "I'm really going to f*ck you up this hand!" said Elezra before betting 75,000.

Cates counted his chips before raising all in. Elezra snap-called.

"You might if you have ten-eight," said Cates, as Elezra turned over {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} for the nut straight. "That's OK," continued Cates, "because I have a million outs."

He turned over {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a flush draw. The river was the {5-Diamonds}.

"Is that one of his outs?" Elezra asked the dealer. It was not, and Cates was left short. He was eliminated soon therafter.
