"Don't Bluff the Donkey!"

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

Pot-Limit Omaha

Naseem Salem limped from under the gun and Benny Glaser limped from the button.

"What kind of Omaha is this?" asked Jean-Robert Bellande in the small blind. "Ben Lamb would be embarrassed if he were here."

Bellande completed the small blind and Tommy Hang checked his option.

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Bellande led for 30,000. Hang bumped it to 90,000, Salem and Glaser folded, and Bellande called.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}, Bellande check-called 200,000 from Hang, the river was the {Q-Clubs}, and Bellande check-called 350,000 from Hang.

Hang showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a wrap that only became queens and sevens, while Bellande tabled {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the same wrap that became trip queens.

"Don't bluff the donkey!" exclaimed Bellande about five times.

Leah and Buchalter Chop Up Vitch

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mike Leah raised to 50,000 from middle position and Chris Vitch three-bet to 75,000 next to act in the cutoff.

Yehuda Buchalter called in the big blind, as did Leah.

The flop landed {J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and action checked to Vitch who bet 25,000. Buchalter and Leah both called before the {6-Clubs} and {8-Hearts} checked through on the turn and river.

Buchalter tabled his {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for two pair, and Leah tabled his {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the low, as Vitch mucked.

The Roughest of Eights for Benny G

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

2-7 Triple Draw

Randy Ohel raised to 50,000 on the button and both Benny Glaser and Jean-Robert Bellande called in the blinds.

Glaser drew two, while Bellande and Ohel drew three. Glaser bet out 25,000 and Bellande made it two bets to go.

Ohel folded, and Glaser made it three bets with Bellande calling and drawing two after Glaser stood pat.

Glaser bet. Belande called and drew one after Glaser stood pat again.

Both players checked, and Glaser fanned his {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-} for the roughest eight, and Bellande mucked.

The Grinder Can't Be Stopped

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

2-7 Triple Draw

John Hennigan opened with a raise and he was called by Michael Mizrachi in the small blind and Aaron Katz in the big blind.

On the first draw, all three players took two. Action then checked to Katz who bet. Both opponents called.

On the second draw, Mizrachi took two while Katz took one. Hennigan also took two. Action then checked to Katz who bet and, this time, only Mizrachi called.

Mizrachi took one on the final draw while Katz stood pat. Mizrachi then led out with a bet.

"Come on dude, seriously?" Katz said upon seeing Mizrachi bet. "How do you do it every time."

Katz then mulled over the hand, peeping his cards. "You haven't bluffed me in 18 years."

"I never have to bluff," Mizrachi said. "Somethings never change."

Katz eventually decided to let it go and pushed his hand over to Katz to look at. Katz turned up Mizrachi's {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and the Grinder raked in another pot.

Ohel Doubles Through Glaser

Level 16 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Randy Ohel limped in from the small blind. Benny Glaser asked him for a count, then moved all in. Ohel snap-called.

Randy Ohel: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Benny Glaser: {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The flop brought a queen when it came {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, but it also gave Ohel a set. Glaser could still earn the pot with another queen, but the board completed with the {2-Clubs} and the {10-Spades}, allowing Ohel to double up to nearly 400,000.
