Vitch Getting Shorter

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

There was 108,000 chips already in the pot and the board was showing {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Mike Leah was first to act in a pot against Chirs Vitch. Leah put out a pot sized bet of 108,000 and Vitch dropped into the tank.

Vitch thought for a couple of minutes before he eventually decided to call. Leah fanned out his {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades} for a full house and Vitch mucked.

"I almost got away from it there," Vitch said after the hand.

Ben Yu Eliminated in 16th Place

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Omaha Hi-Lo

In a battle of short stacks, the board read {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and John Hennigan (button) got the remainder of his chips into the middle with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} against Ben Yu (big blind) with {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

The river was the {8-Spades}, giving Hennigan eights full of jacks to double up and leave Yu with just about 30,000.

Razz

Benny Glaser: {X-}{X-} / {10-}{9-}
Jean-Robert Bellande: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{10-}
Ben Yu: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{2-}

Benny Glaser was the bring in, Jean-Robert Bellande called and Ben Yu called.

Yu bet his remaining 18,000 on fourth street and both opponents called, checking down the rest of the way.

Benny Glaser: {X-}{X-} / {10-}{9-}{Q-}{K-} / {X-}
Jean-Robert Bellande: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{10-}{K-}{4-} / {X-}
Ben Yu: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{2-}{J-}{5-} / {X-}

Bellande showed {10-}{9-}{9-} for king-ten, Glaser showed {A-}{8-}{7-} for a ten-nine and Yu showed {A-}{3-}{A-} for three pairs, ending his tournament in 16th place.

Mike Gorodinsky brought in with the {2-Clubs} and Chris Vitch just called with his {4-Clubs}

Chris Vitch: {x-}{x-}/{4-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}/{x-}
Mike Gorodinsky: {x-}{x-}/{2-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}/{x-}

Vitch bet on fourth street and was called by Gorodinsky. Vitch bet again on fifth street and Gorodinsky called again.

On sixth street, Vitch slowed down and checked while Gorodinsky bet. Vitch called. Vitch led out on seventh leaving just 5,000 chips behind. Gorodinsky sighed, then called.

Vitch showed {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a seventh street flush and a low. Gorodinsky held two pair holding {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} and he was cut down to under 300,000.
