Loeser Out

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

Manig Loeser will have to reenter if he is to stay in the competition. He just got it all in three-handed with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

It was looking very good when one player turned over {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, but the other turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, which changed everything.

The {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop did nothing to help the German. The {a-Diamonds} turn and {4-Hearts} river didn't change anything either and Loeser has around 20 minutes to reenter this flight, otherwise there is always Day 1b, which starts tomorrow.

Burstein's Ace-King No Good

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante
Vladimir Burstein
Vladimir Burstein

The player in mid-position raised and action folded to Vladimir Burstein in the small blind who shoved. The player in the big blind also shoved with the shorter stack. The initial raiser snap-called.

Big blind: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Mid-position: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Vladimir Burstein: {A-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} for the queens to hold and triple up. After losing this hand, Burstein was left with about 2,900, which he doubled up a few hands later.
