Chidwick Loses a Small Pot

Level 6 : 75/150, 0 ante

A player raised to 400 and Stephen Chidwick was the only one to call from the big blind.

Both players checked on the {4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and did the same on the {4-Diamonds} turn. When the {4-Clubs} river came, Chidwick checked for the third time. His opponent bet 500 and Chidwick called to see his opponent hold the third-strongest hand possible with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Staszko Gets Three-Quarters

Level 6 : 75/150, 0 ante

PLO-8

There was a raise from the cutoff and Martin Staszko called on the button along with the big blind. The flop fell {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and the big blind checked to the cutoff who bet 1,650, the size of the pot. Staszko shrugged his shoulders and put in a raise to 5,000. The big blind folded and the cutoff called off his remaining chips for 3,400.

Martin Staszko: {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Both players flopped the nut low with no pair but Staszko had an open-ended straight draw. The {5-Hearts} on the turn gave Staszko the lone pair and the {4-Spades} on the river improved him to a straight. Staszko would get three-quarters of the pot, leaving his opponent with around 2,000 chips.

Rosario and Kaba Play for It All

Level 6 : 75/150, 0 ante
Shirley Rosario
Shirley Rosario

Big-O

The action folded around to Shirley Rosario on the button who raised it up to 400. Dion Kaba was in the small blind and three-bet to 1,350. The big blind folded and the action was on Rosario who made a four-bet to 4,200. Kaba just called and they went heads up to a flop with already a bunch of chips in the middle.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Kaba announced a pot-sized bet which was enough for him to be all in for 7,750.

"That's not the best flop," Rosario said as she still made the call. Kaba tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a straight while Rosario held {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{x-} and would need to hit two low cards to get half of the pot.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, giving Rosario some outs to chop the pot, but the {q-Diamonds} on the river secured the win for Kaba. When the stacks were counted, Kaba earned a full double-up and Rosario was left with just 250 chips.

Heimiller Doubles Up

Level 5 : 50/100, 0 ante

Big-O

There were still four people involved in the hand on the {4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop when Dan Heimiller bet 1,000. Kate Hoang made the call, but her left neighbor raised to 5,000. There was a fold and Heimiller was up next. He did make the call and Hoang folded her hand.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Heimiller only had 4,000 behind that he pushed all in. His opponent made the call and the cards went on their backs.

Dan Heimiller: {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The river was the {J-Clubs} and, at first, it looked like Heimiller would three-quarter his opponent, until the table realized Heimiller had the {J-Spades} in his hand that would give him the higher full house.
