Monster Pot to Greenstein

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante
Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein

When we got to the table, all the chips were already in the middle and the cards were on their backs. Barry Greenstein told the PokerNews Live Reporting team that action had folded to him in late middle position and he opened to 900. The player in the small blind 3-bet to 3,300 and Greenstein called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, the small blind bet 3,000, and Greenstein called.

The turn brought the {6-Clubs}, the small blind bet 7,000, and Greenstein called.

The {4-Diamonds} hit the river and the small blind shoved for about 20,000. Greenstein called with a slightly larger stack and tabled {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The small blind showed {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}, and after the dealer verified the stacks, he pushed the pot Greenstein's way, putting his stack over the 70,000-chip mark.
