Marathon Heads-Up Comes to an End

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

One of the first tables to reach heads-up, featured Christopher Audrain and Arthur Conan. It has just come to an end though and sadly for Conan, he will not make it through to Day 2.

Audrain had {7-}{7-} when Conan shoved all-in with {a-}{9-} . The runout favored the sevens and Audrain bagged up 66,000 to take through to the second round.

Clarke Busts Radoja

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Caleb Clarke has just played his last hand for the evening and it has secured him a place in the second round.

Clarke was the massive chip leader and set Mark Radoja all-in. After some deliberation, Radoja made the call and they turned their cards on their backs.

Clarke {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Radoja {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop left Radoja drawing very thin but the {7-Diamonds} gave him a little hope with a gutshot. The {4-Clubs} couldn't get there for him and it is Clarke who was left to bag up his chips.

Darie Takes Down the Opposition

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Vlad Darie in an earlier event
Vlad Darie in an earlier event

Vlad Darie got it in with the best of it with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} against {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

Both players connected with the {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop but it moved Darie further into the lead. The {2-Diamonds} turn meant that there were only two kings for Darie to dodge. It was a {7-Diamonds} brick on the river and Darie takes 73,200 forward to Day 2.
