Day 2 of Event #41: $1,500 Limit Hold'em is set to kick off at 12 noon local time today with 174 players descending upon the Amazon room at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino with the ambition of building a stack for Day 3 and improving their shot at the coveted gold bracelet.

Brian Vollick will begin as the chip leader after he bagged 71,500 overnight, with WSOP ring winner Rex Clinkscales (69,900), Cody Riedel (68,600), Kurt Maier (68,200), and Jeremy Heartberg (66,200) also bagging big.

Also in action today are bracelet winners Brandon Cantu (23,500), Philip Tom (18,900), Mark Radoja (18,500), Matt Grapenthien (18,400), Svetlana Gromenkova (16,800), David Bach (10,800), and Dutch Boyd (8,000).

After a field of 596 entrants came together to create a prize pool worth $804,600, the first-place prize was set at $173,568, and the top 90 players will receive a minimum cash of $2,246.

Level 11 will get underway with 500/1,000 blinds and 1,000/2,000 limits. Ten 60-minute levels will be played with 15-minute breaks coming after every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break at the end of the day's sixth level. The average stack is currently set at 25,690.
