Song Sends Tollerene To The Rail

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Ben Tollerene
Ben Tollerene

Ben Tollerene had raised to 18,000 first to act and Paul Volpe called, as did Jacob Kalb on the button. Michael Song in the small blind raised it up to 98,000 and Tollerene was the only caller to go heads-up to the {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop. The stacks went in and Tollerene ended up all in and at risk for around 190,000.

Ben Tollerene: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Michael Song: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Song's pair and wrap improved to trip fives thanks to the {5-Hearts} turn, and the {7-Clubs} on the river was no help for Tollerene.

Winter Busts to Velador

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Sean Winter's raise was called by Luis Velador on the button and Christopher Kruk in the big blind. On a flop of {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Kruk checked and Winter moved all in for his last 51,000. Velador called and Kruk released his cards into the muck.

Sean Winter: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Luis Velador: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

"I need clubs," Winter said in table chat and added, "wow, I am in bad shape" when the {9-Hearts} had appeared on the turn. A blank {7-Diamonds} river failed to improve Winter and he was sent to the rail.

Kyllonen KO'd by MacIntyre

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Following a flop of {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Jens Kyllonen got his stack of about 154,000 into the middle with {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} from the small blind against Fraser MacIntyre in the hijack with {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

The turn was the {8-Spades}, giving Kyllonen the leads with trip eights. However, the {10-Diamonds} river fell to give MacIntyre trip tens to eliminate Kyllonen.

Calderaro Straightens Out Leah

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
James Calderaro
James Calderaro

Scotty Nguyen had raised first to act and picked up two callers in James Calderaro in the cutoff and Mike Leah in the small blind. The three-way flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop was checked to Nguyen and he bet 30,000, which both opponents called. After the {7-Clubs} turn all three players checked and the {9-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Leah and Nguyen checked and defending champion Calderaro bet 75,000. Leah tossed in three T-25,000 chips for the call, while Nguyen sent his cards into the muck. Calderaro turned over {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a straight and claimed the pot.

Assorted Counts

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Craig Varnell in the cutoff and Ryan Tosoc on the button invested 28,000 each and eventually checked down the board of {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} entirely. Varnell briefly flashed his cards and exposed the {10-Hearts} when he mucked, while Tosoc showed the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} as winning hand.
