Vornicu Busts McKeehen

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Joe McKeehen
Joe McKeehen

A player in late position raised to 1,500 and Valentin Vornicu called from the cutoff. Joe McKeehen called from the big blind and they went three-handed to the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop. It checked to Vornicu who bet 2,500 and McKeehen called.

They went heads up to the {3-Spades} turn and McKeehen check-called a bet of 4,500 from Vornicu. The river was the {2-Spades}, McKeehen checked and Vornicu moved all in covering McKeehen who had just over 8,000 behind.

McKeehen called turning over his {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for top pair but Vornicu showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to send McKeehen to the rail.

David Peters

The action folded to the player in the cutoff and he raised to 2,025. David Peters reraised to 6,000 from the button and the blinds folded. The player in the cutoff moved all in for about 45,000 and Peters snap called.

David Peters: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Masayuki Doubles in Multiway Pot

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Daria Feshchenko started things off with a 1,200 open from under the gun. She got four callers, including Masayuki Nagata on the button and the two blinds.

It was an action board of {9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. The blinds both checked, as did Feshchenko and one other player. With action on Nagata, he set 8,000 over the line. The blinds and Feschenko moved aside before one player called.

The turn came {2-Hearts} and it was a lead all in from the player out of position. Nagata snapped his last 4,375 and the cards were turned over.

Masayuki Nagata {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Opponent {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

With one card to come, it was a pair and a low straight draw versus over cards, a higher straight draw and the nut flush draw. Nagata managed to evade it all when the {9-Clubs} bricked the river.

Greenstein Builds

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein

Barry Greenstein has been chipping up. Most recently, he won a sizeable pot against another player at his table.

Barry Greenstein {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Opponent {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Greenstein was the favorite preflop and the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades} board did nothing to change that.
