Shawn Buchanan opened the button to 6,000 and Tyler Meservy re-raised all in for 8,000 total. Buchanan called and drew two behind Meservy drawing three.

The second draw saw each player reduce their draw by one, and on the final draw, Meservy drew one as Buchanan stood pat.

Buchanan: {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}
Meservy: {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}

Meservy found an {8-} on the final draw to make a number five, and ensured himself of a double to 19,000.

Martin Wins Battle of the Eights

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Christopher Kruk raised under the gun to 6,000 and both JC Tran and Jesse Martin called from the cutoff and button, respectively.

Kruk drew one, and Tran and Martin drew two each. Kruk bet, Tran raised, Martin called, as did Kruk. On the second draw each player took one and action checked through.

The final draw saw each player draw one and then Kruk bet out. Tran folded, but Martin called.

Kruk tabled his {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} for a rough-eight, and Martin immediately revealed his {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to scoop the pot.
