Hand #11: Harald Sammer moved all in from the cutoff and Shyam Srinivasan called in the big blind.

Harald Sammer: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Shyam Srinivasan: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

There was no help for the Austrian on the {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop and the {q-Diamonds} turn meant he was drawing dead by the {4-Spades} river, with Srinivasan having made a set.

Benko Scoops Miracle Double

Level 37 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante
Michael Benko
Michael Benko

Hand #14: It folded to Tommy Nguyen in the small blind who surveyed short stack Michael Benko's stack before moving all in. Benko snap-called for his last 3,500,000.

Tommy Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Michael Benko: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} giving Nguyen top pair. As the {6-Clubs} turn came Benko turned to fist-bump Nguyen, saying "Nice hand." The river, however, was the {7-Clubs} giving Benko a four-card flush.

"Wow," said Benko, "I didn't even see that."

Hands #15-18: Chong Applies Pressure to Nguyen

Level 37 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #15: Tommy Nguyen opened to 800,000 on the button and Francis Rusnak shipped all in for 4,600,000 in the big blind. Nguyen thought for a minute but decided to lay his hand down.

Hand #16: Chris Chong raised to 825,000 from under the gun and the rest of the table folded.

Hand #17: Nguyen made it 800,000 to go from the hijack and Chong defended from the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Chong checked to Nguyen who continued for 1,000,000. Chong check-raised to 3,000,000 and Nguyen made the call.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and both players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Chong thought for a minute and then announced all in, putting Nguyen to the test for his remaining 5,800,000 chips. Nguyen spent some time in the tank but eventually tossed his cards to the muck.

Hand #18: Michael Benko raised to 850,000 from the hijack and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hands #19-23: Double for Rusnak

Level 37 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #19: Chris Chong raised to 825,000 and took down the pot.

Hand #20: Francis Rusnak moved all in for 5,500,000 from early position. Chong called and the other players all folded.

Francis Rusnak: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Chris Chong: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Pocket fives held on a {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Spades} runout and Rusnak doubled to just over 11 million.

Hand #21: James Carroll raised to 900,000 and took down the pot.

Hand #22: Shyam Srinivasan raised to 900,000 and Rusnak defended his big blind. Rusnak check-folded to a bet of 600,000 on the {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop.

Hand #23: Srinivasan raised to 900,000 and Carroll defended his big blind. Carroll check-called a bet of 600,000 on the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. The pair checked down the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} turn and river.

"Gotcha," said Srinivasan, tabling {8-Spades}{9-Spades} for a rivered pair of nines, and Carroll mucked.

Hand #24: Chris Chong limped in from the small blind and Shyam Srinivasan checked his option. The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Chong led out for 400,000. Srinivasan quickly mucked his cards and Chong raked in the pot.

Hand #25: Chong raised to 825,000 on the button and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #26: The action folded to Daniel Corbett in the small blind who announced all in. Tommy Nguyen looked down at his cards in the big blind and instantly made the call for his last 4,750,000 chips.

Nguyen tabled {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and was in a race situation against the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of Corbett. The board ran out {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Nguyen's pocket sevens held on to earn him a key double up.
