On a completed board of , Loren Klein bet 4,000 into a pot of about 12,000 after some thought. His opponent tanked awhile and then tossed in a call, at which point Klein simply mucked his hand.

Klein may not be the most familiar name to many poker fans, but he has been one of, if not the most, successful players in PLO events here at the Rio in recent years. In 2016, he won the $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha event for $241,427 and narrowly missed a second bracelet when he came runner-up in this very event for $552,713. Last year, he won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha for $231,483.

We'll see if he can keep the incredible success going here in 2018.
