Shack-Harris Gets a Fold From Porter

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Rep Porter raised to 250,000 from middle position and Brandon Shack-Harris called from the hijack.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Porter bet 275,000, and Shack-Harris called.

The turn brought the {Q-Spades} and Porter bet again, 650,000 this time. After some consideration, Shack-Harris called.

The {8-Clubs} hit the river and Porter checked. Shack-Harris bet 600,000 and Porter went into the tank for over a minute. He eventually folded and Shack-Harris took the pot to chip up substantially.

Klein Chips Up With Kings

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Loren Klein made it 280,000 to go and Ryan Hughes called in the hijack, as did Rep Porter on the button. Jerry Wong admitted in the big blind that it was a very good price, but ended up folding. On the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop, Klein bet 600,000 and Hughes got out of the way, Porter called.

Both checked the {6-Diamonds} turn and the {K-Diamonds} river and Klein showed {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a rivered set of kings to win the pot.

Brandon Shack-Harris: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{A-Spades} to give Shack-Harris aces and kings for the double-up.

Richard Lyndaker Eliminated in 9th Place ($67,210)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Richard Lyndaker
Richard Lyndaker

Mike Leah raised to 350,000 in the hijack and Richard Lyndaker called all in for 115,000 from the cutoff, Jerry Wong called from the big blind. On the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, Wong moved all in and Leah checked his cards again, then put in calling chips to create a three-way all-in situation.

Richard Lyndaker: {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Jerry Wong: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Mike Leah: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Lyndaker had a gutshot but was in dire shape nonetheless against two opponents, while Wong had the nut flush draw against Leah's pair, gutshot, and inferior flush draw. The {10-Spades} turn locked up the hand for Wong to ensure the elimination of Lyndaker, and the meaningless {2-Clubs} fell on the river. Lyndaker was eliminated in 9th place for $67,210 and Wong doubled through Leah for 665,000.

"You had no pair, nothing? I knew I had you beat," Leah joked while paying off Wong.

Shack-Harris Doubles Through Lyndaker; Nearly Stacks Him

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Richard Lyndaker raised the button to 350,000 and Brandon Shack-Harris called from the big blind, leaving himself about 300,000 behind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Shack-Harris shoved, and Lyndaker quickly called.

Richard Lyndaker: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Brandon Shack-Harris: {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Shack-Harris was ahead with his nines and Lyndaker needed to improve in order to stack him. The {9-Hearts} turn further improved Shack-Harris to trips, and the {4-Diamonds} river was no help to Lyndaker, so Shack-Harris took the pot to double up, leaving Lyndaker with just over one big blind.

Hughes Doubles Through Wong

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Ryan Hughes
Ryan Hughes

Jerry Wong raised to 300,000 from early position, Ryan Hughes three-bet to 1.05 million from the button, and Wong called.

The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Wong checked. Hughes bet 325,000 and Wong called.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and both players checked.

The {2-Hearts} fell on the river, and after some thought, Wong shoved. Hughes had 1.25 million behind and Wong had him covered by a wide margin. After going deep into the tank for about five minutes, Hughes ultimately called.

Wong tabled {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a stone cold bluff and Hughes flipped over {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to take the pot with aces up for a full double-up.

Aces Versus Aces Debacle for Bohlman

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

The action started with a limp by Scott Bohlman from under the gun and Mike Leah announced a pot-sized raise to 450,000 from two seats over. Once the action had folded back to Bohlman, he reraised the pot and Leah checked his stack, moved all in for two million and Bohlman called instantly.

Mike Leah: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Scott Bohlman: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}

On the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop Leah picked up some outs to avoid a split pot, while Bohlman picked up a flush draw with the {K-Spades} turn. The {4-Diamonds} on the river indeed improved Leah to two pair, eights and hours, and he doubled for 2,005,000 to jump into second place with nine players remaining.
