Dubini Gets a Fold From Mariani

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Richard Dubini opened to 2,200 and only Frank Mariani made the call from the button.

The flop fell {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Mariani called Dubini's continuation bet for 3,500. Things then heated up a bit after the turn brought the {j-Spades}. After a first check from Dubini, Mariani bet for 8,000. Dubini thought about his next move and tossed a stack of 1,000 chips for a raise worth more than 20,000. Mariani ended up folding his hand and Dubini grabbed the pot.

Konnikova Loses Some Chips

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Maria Konnikova opened to 2,200 and Mike Puskarich moved all in for 5,600. The action folded to the big blind player who made a raise and Konnikova announced all in. After some thought, the big blind player folded his hand to create the following showdown:

Mike Puskarich: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Maria Konnikova: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

It was a classic flip, and the board {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} came gave the pot to Puskarich who tripled up his stack.
