Landier Doubles Through Seiver

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Bryce Landier raised in the cutoff and called a three-bet from Scott Seiver on his left. Landier check-called the {3-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Spades} flop and check-called his last 17,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn. Seiver had {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for two pair, but needed help against Lander's {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for a flush. The {10-Diamonds} river secured Landier's double.

Seiver Gets All the Value

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Scott Seiver raised on the button and Dan Zack defended the big blind. It came {3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} with Seiver betting the whole way. He paused on the river and eyed Zack before putting in the final bet and announced "tens" when Zack called. Zack gave him the thumbs up and Seiver showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Philip Cordano raised and Maria Ho called from the big blind. They went heads-up to the {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and Ho check-called a bet from Cordano. She did the same on the {j-Hearts} turn and the river was the {a-Spades}.

Ho checked to Cordano who bet for a third time and Ho called. Cordano tabled his {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for trip jacks and Ho fired her hand into the muck.

Welcome to Day 3 of Event #52: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship.

Day 2 saw 56 players in action to start the day with only the final 18 making the money. The money bubble burst in dramatic fashion when Ray Henson was eliminated in a monster pot. Henson had flopped top set holding pocket tens, Ken Deng made a straight on the turn and scored the knockout.

Just 14 players were left in the hunt at night's end, and it was all Dan Zack on Day 2. Zack was seemingly involved in every pot and his aggressive strategy certainly paid out. Zack will return with a staggering 1,217,000 chips and has more than double the next closest stack of Matt Szymaszek who sits with 561,000.

Nick Schulman and Anthony Zinno were in cruise control for much of the day and both will return near the top of the chip counts with just under half a million each.

Bracelet winners Scott Seiver (467,000), Michael Moore (368,000), Benny Glaser (215,000) and Brock Parker (167,000) are also still in the hunt.

The final 14 will return to the Brasilia room at 2 p.m. local time and battle it out for the $296,222 first prize and the most coveted jewelry in poker.

We are less than two hours away from kicking off Day 3 and as always PokerNews will be keeping you up to date on all of the live tournament action.
