"You Can't Win the Tournament. It's Literally Impossible"

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante

In a hand recapped to us by Matt Glantz and Ryan Miller from just before the break, Miller and Calvin Anderson played a pot with their boards winding up as follows:

Ryan Miller: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{5-}{Q-}{Q-} / {X-}
Calvin Anderson: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{5-}{6-}{K-} / {X-}

Miller completion on third street was raised by Anderson, Miller's fourth street bet was raised by Anderson, and when it came to seventh street Miller's initial starting hand of {A-}{4-} / {3-}{5-} finished with a runout of {Q-}{Q-}{A-} for a queen-five low.

Anderson, meanwhile, had downcards of {J-}{9-}{10-} (which he neither confirmed nor denied) and won the pot with a ten-nine.

"You can't win the tournament. It's literally impossible," said Miller. "400 to 1 maybe."

"I'll take that," said Anderson.
