Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

See Yang called the 200 and Patricia Cahill situated in the cutoff raised to 500. it was called by Louise Francoeur in the big blind, the big blind and Yang completed.

The flop brought {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} and all the players checked. On the turn {4-Spades}, after a check from Francoeur, the big blind bet 800 and both Yang and Cahill made the call. The river fell a {10-Diamonds} and Yang bet 1,300 after the small blind check. Cahill eventually called, but sent her hand into the muck when Yang revealed {j-Spades}{q-Spades} for the straight.

Cahill, who finished 9th in the Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship in 2014, chipped down to 6,300 after that hand.

Carol Fuchs

The player in early position opened to 400. Carol Fuchs, in the hijack, called. The button three-bet to 1,300. The original raiser and the hijack stuck around with a call.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and was checked around to the {10-Diamonds}. Action checked to the button who threw in a bet of 1,700. The original raiser gave up his hand while Fuchs check-called.

The {4-Spades} river filled up the board and was checked around. Fuchs tabled {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Her opponent showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} before tossing her cards in the muck.

Big Double Up for Tai Kornuth

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

Jenny Israel opened to 450 under the gun and it was called by Emily Tai Kornuth and the big blind player.

The flop came {8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and the big blind bet 800. Israel made the call and Tai Kornuth raised it to 1,600. The big blind shoved all in for 2,975 and after some thought, Israel announced all in, putting Tai Kornuth's tournament at risk. The latter snap-called with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a set of eights, and was in good shape to win the big pot, facing {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for Israel and {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

The turn {a-Spades} and river{6-Clubs} improved Tai Kornuth's hand into a full house and she climbed up to a stack worth 15,100.
