Finger Picks Up a Hand

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Yann Brosolo opened to 17,000 from the hijack and Martin Finger three-bet to 50,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Brosolo who four-bet shoved all in and Finger instantly called.

Martin Finger: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Yann Brosolo: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Finger held a much superior pocket pair to Brosolo and was in great shape to double up. The board ran out {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs} and the pocket tens of Finger held on to double his stack of 263,000.

Blair Let's One Go

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Eric Blair raised it up to 18,000 from the cutoff and Guillaume Diaz re-raised to 52,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Blair called to see a flop of {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Blair check-called a bet of 45,000 from Diaz and the {6-Clubs} landed on the turn.

The action slowed as both players chose to check and the {10-Spades} completed the board. Blair checked one more time and Diaz slid in a bet of 130,000. Blair studied his opponent up and down for a couple of minutes and then finally sent his cards to the muck.

Mackey Eliminates Obreshkov

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Stoyan Obreshkov shipped all in for 112,000 from under the gun and the action folded to James Mackey in the big blind. Mackey thought for a minute and then stuck in the chips to call.

James Mackey: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Stoyan Obreshkov: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Mackey made a pair of aces, leaving Obreshkov with not much hope. The {7-Hearts} on the turn got Obreshkov out of his seat as he was already drawing dead before the {6-Diamonds} completed the board.
