Akash Seth Eliminated in 15th Place ($26,698)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Akash Seth
Akash Seth

Akash Seth opened to 60,000 on the button and Jean-Robert Bellande three-bet to 150,000 from the small blind. Seth four-bet shoved for around 600,000 and Robert snap-called as he put his chips back on his stack.

Jean-Robert Bellande: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Akesh Seth: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Bellande had Seth dominated and was in great position to add to his ever-growing stack. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Bellande's ace-high was good enough to eliminate Seth in 15th place. Bellande has moved into the chip lead with nearly 2.5 million chips now.

Lyall Bets All Streets

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Play was on the {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and Dean Lyall had the button, with Brosolo playing out of middle position.

Brosolo checked and Lyall bet 69,000. Brosolo called and the dealer put out a {5-Spades} on the turn. The board was paired, with two flush draws down. Brosolo checked to to Lyall again and called the 200,000 bet.

The {k-Clubs} completed the board and Brosolo checked once more. Lyall barreled for a third time, making it 365,000. Brosolo tanked but eventually passed, asking Lyall to show the bluff but he mucked instead.

Diaz Holds with Kings

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Eric Blair raised to 45,000 from the cutoff and Guillaume Diaz ripped all in for 244,000 in the big blind. Blair asked for a count and then made the call, but soon found out he was in a bad position.

Guillaume Diaz: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Eric Blair: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

The flop fell {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Blair picked up a straight draw to go with his one overcard. However, the {4-Clubs} on the turn nor the {2-Spades} on the river were of any help as Diaz scored himself a full double up.

Justin Adams Eliminated in 16th Place ($26,698)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Justin Adams
Justin Adams

Andrew Graham raised it up to 45,000 on the button and Justin Adams three-bet jammed all in for around 330,000 in the big blind. Graham thought for a moment and then made the call.

Andrew Graham: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Justin Adams: {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Graham was in a dominating position heading to the flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Both players made a pair of sixes but Graham held the better kicker. Adams picked up a straight to go with his one live card but was unable to connect on the {k-Spades} turn or the {3-Diamonds} river.

Brosolo Doubles Through Mackey

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Yann Brosolo
Yann Brosolo

Chips have been changing hands a lot since the beginning of this level.

Yann Brosolo and James Mackey got all the chips in preflop and Brosolo's tournament life was on the line in very good shape.

Yann Brosolo: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
James Mackey: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop didn't help Mackey. The {j-Clubs} turn gave both players a gutshot to broadway and the {q-Clubs} river made the straight for Brosolo and he collected the pot.

Guerrero Doubles Through Adams

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Jimmy Guerrero
Jimmy Guerrero

Justin Adams opened the cutoff and Jimmy Guerrero three-bet all-in from the blinds. Adams called and they flipped over their cards.

Jimmy Guerrero: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Justin Adams: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop was good for Adams but the {q-Diamonds} turn put Guerrero a long way ahead. The {7-Clubs} river kept it that way and Guerrero got the double, whilst Adams was left short.

Yorane Kerignard
Yorane Kerignard

The action folded to Yorane Kerignard in the cutoff who shipped all in for around 300,000. Jean-Robert Bellande was on the button and tossed in a single chip to signify a call. The blinds folded and the two hands were tabled.

Jean-Robert Bellande: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Yorane Kerignard: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} and Kerignard out-flopped Bellande by hitting a set of tens. The turn was the {a-Spades} and the river brought the {k-Hearts}. Bellande rivered a straight to send Kerignard out in 17th place.

Lyall Bombs the River Before Break

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Kacper Pyzara raised to 40,000 from the hijack and Deal Lyall defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Spades} and Lyall checked to Pyzara who continued for another 40,000. Lyall called and the {7-Spades} landed on the turn.

Lyall checked again and Pyzara checked behind this time. The river brought the {2-Hearts} and Lyall reached back for a bet of 265,000. Pyzara only took a moment to call but it was Lyall that turned over the goods with {6-Spades}{3-Spades} for a flush.

The remaining 17 players are going on their first 15-minute break of the day.
