Doubles for Nestorov and Chan

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

Svetlozar Nestorov pushed all for 8,000,000 in the hijack and Alexander Lakhov re-raised all in on the button. Lakhov trailed with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} against {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and the board of {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} confirmed Nestorov's win as he finished with a flush.

On the other table, Lawrence Chan moved all in for 7.3 million and his neighbour Jordan Bamford reshoved. They were flipping as Chan had {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} while Bamford had {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} flop was better for Chan who picked up two pair on the {K-Spades} turn. Bamford had some outs to chop and spiked a flush draw in addition to his sevens, but the {6-Clubs} was a brick and Chan doubled up.

Gregory Kolo Eliminated in 12th Place ($18,947)

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante
Gregory Kolo
Gregory Kolo

Gregory Kolo moved all in from the button for his last 12,000,000. Alexander Lakhov was in the big blind and called.

Gregory Kolo: {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Alexander Lakhov: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop was a good one for a Kolo, flopping a pair on {6-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The turn was the {2-Clubs} but the river {j-Spades} completed Lakhov's gutshot straight draw.

"Flush is good?" said Lakhov, peering towards the board but seeing no flush. "Ok, straight is ok."

Kolo takes home $18,947 for his 12th place payout.

Joel Gossett
Joel Gossett

Alexander Lakhov raised from under the gun and Joel Gossett called all in from the big blind.

"I've been getting eight-high all day," he said showing {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}, "It must be a sign."

Lakhov showed {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} with the ten on the river sealing the elimination for Lakhov.

Amy Schwarz Eliminated in 14th Place ($14,789)

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante
Amy Schwarz
Amy Schwarz

Jordan Bamford min-raised under the gun and Amy Schwarz moved all in for 8,100,000. Renato Kaneoya woke up with a big hand on the button and cold-called, prompting a big sigh from Bamford. Bamford said he had a huge hand as well but he was able to let it go.

Schwarz: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Kaneoya: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Schwarz ran into bullets and the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts} board didn't help her. The last woman in the tournament finished in 14th place. Kaneyoa is now the chip leader with over 40 million.

Paul Bibergal Eliminated in 15th Place ($14,789)

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

Alexander Lakhov opened from under the gun and Paul Bibergal defended his big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Bibergal checked and Lakhov bet 2,000,000. Bibergal check-raised all in for 13,500,000 and Lakhov called.

Alexander Lakhov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Paul Bibergal: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river the {7-Diamonds} and after an exact count, it was determined that the pair had the exact same stack, and Bibergal was eliminated.

James Duff Eliminated in 16th Place ($11,581)

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante
James Duff
James Duff

James Duff suffered a huge bad beat when his {A-}{9-} couldn't beat {K-}{9-} of Paul Bibergal who hit his three-outer on the river.

Duff was down to crumbs and he couldn't recover. On his final hand, he jammed 1,200,000 from the second position and Daniel Fuhs reshoved in the hijack.

Duff: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Fuhs: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Duff was almost finished on the {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop and the {3-Spades} turn definitely busted him from the tournament. The {8-Hearts} river was a formality.

Mathieu Philbert Eliminated in 17th Place ($11,581)

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante
Mathieu Philbert
Mathieu Philbert

Mathieu Philbert tossed in his last 1,200,000 from the second position and Alexander Lakhov reshoved on the button. The situation got complicated for Lakhov as Matthew Smith quickly slid in all his chips out of the big blind.

Philbert: {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Lakhov: {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Smith: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Fortunately for Lakhov, the board double paired and he chopped Philbert's chips with Smith on the {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Spades} board.

Lakhov Doubles Through Philbert

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

Alexander Lakhov moved all in for 6,100,000 from early position. Mathieu Philbert was in the cutoff and moved all in himself. The remaining players all folded.

Alexander Lakhov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Mathieu Philbert: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Lakhov doubled up, leaving Philbert with around two big blinds.

Mark Frimodt Eliminated in 18th Place ($11,581)

Level 34 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante
Mark Frimodt
Mark Frimodt

Kevin Rines moved all in for around 7 million on the button and Mark Frimodt called in the big blind. Rines was slightly behind with {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} against {A-Spades}{7-Hearts} but the {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} runout saved his tournament run. Rines doubled and Frimodt was crippled, dropping down to below 1,000,000.

The next hand saw the action fold around to Frimodt who put his 900,000 in play and Luis Vazquez threw in the extra 100,000-chip to call.

Frimodt: {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Vazquez: {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} board was the last one Frimodt would see in the tournament as the queen on the river eliminated him in 18th place.
