Hawkins Picks Some Up

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

After losing a significant pot not too long ago, Maurice Hawkins had been left nursing a short stack.

Recently, he peeled the button over a 1,600 cutoff open and the big blind came along as well.

The flop ran out {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and both players checked to Hawkins, who moved all-in. He got it through and showed {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a pair and a flush draw.

Riehl Finds an Unexpected Double Up

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

A player opened from the under the gun and Ludovic Riehl defended his big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and all the chips went in the middle with Rhiel at risk for his last 13,000.

Holding {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Riehl was in desperate shape for a double up, facing {j-Spades}{10-Spades} in his opponent's hand for two pair, but the {2-Diamonds} turn and {k-Diamonds} river gave a runner-runner flush to the French player who now has a stack around 27,000.

John Pannucci

John Pannucci has been continuing his assault. Just now there was at least 35,000 chips in the middle, with a {2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts} board showing. He bet around 12,000 into the pot and it was good enough to secure a fold and he scooped another pot.

Nahum Picks Off Another

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Kfir Nahum
Kfir Nahum

Kfir Nahum is another big stack who has continued to climb throughout the day. Most recently, he three-bet to 8,000 over a 2,500 open and it was enough to set his opponent all-in.

Kfir Nahum: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Nahum was a long way ahead and the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board didn't change that, netting him a little more to add to his already impressive stack.

Big Pot for Costello

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Lisa Costello
Lisa Costello

Lisa Costello opened to 1,700 and it was called by two players. The flop brought {2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs} and the big blind player and Costello checked. The third player bet 3,500 and only Costello made the call.

Things heated on the turn {7-Diamonds}. Costello checked once more and snap-called the all-in bet of her opponent for a stack around 30,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a set of sevens. Her opponent, holding {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, was drawing dead and got eliminated after a {9-Clubs} fell on the river.
