The board showed {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Leo Margets was heads up against Jared Griener when we got to the table. Margets checked and faced a bet worth 10,000 from Griener, putting her tournament at risk.

Margets thought about it for 30 secondes and eventually called, showing {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for the nut flush. Griener flipped over {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a full house and Margets made her way to the exit.

Bad Beat and Bust for Mizzi

Level 5 : 75/150, 25 ante

A player opened to 600 and the action folded to Sorel Mizzi who pushed all in for 7,025. The initial raiser thought about it for a minute and made the call with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Mizzi was in good shape to win the hand, holding {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, but a board of {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} gave two pair to his opponent and left Mizzi with a short stack of 1,900.

Mizzi busted from the tournament a few minutes later.
