Sarmiento Builds his Stack

The flop read {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades} on a raised pot when Lester Edoc made a bet of 76,000. Steven Sarmiento raised it to 276,000, putting Edoc into a complicated decision. After some time, Edoc folded his hand and Sarmiento took down the big pot.

Tosques Forces a Fold on the River

François Tosques raised to 22,000 under the gun position and Xuming Qi made the call. Andrew Hills thought about it for a minute from the big blind and called as well.

The flop brought {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Tosques continued for 33,000 after Hills checked. Qi called and Hills let it go.

The turn fell a {j-Diamonds} and Tosques bet a second barrel for 77,000. Qi called once more and the river completed the board with a {9-Hearts}. Tosques fired a last bet of 148,000, putting Qi deep into the tank. The latter ended up folding his hand and Tosques climbed to a stack above the million.

Lau led for 32,000, England made the call and the river came the {a-Hearts}. Action checked to England who bet 45,000 and Lau check-raised all in for 170,000. England quickly folded and Lau took down the pot.

Qartomy Wins a Small One

Jon Hoellein started the action on the button with a raise to 25,000 and Dash Dudley called from the small blind as well as Ray Qartomy in big blind.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and after a check from Dudley, Qartomy bet for 35,000. It was enough to make his opponents fold their hands and Qartomy grabbed the chips.

Corvino Finds a Double Through Dixon

William Corvino opened to 24,000 from the hijack, Richard Dixon called from the big blind and the dealer fanned out a flop of {3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Dixon check-called a bet of 31,000 from Corvino and the turn came the {10-Hearts}. Dixon led out for 72,000, Corvino quickly moved all in and Dixon made the call, players turned over their hands.

Dixon flipped over {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top pair, Corvino tabled {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for an overpair of jacks and the river came down the {9-Spades}. Corvino's jacks held on for the pot, leaving Dixon with crumbs.
