Hand #113-117: Margereson Doubles Through Liu

Level 39 : 300,000/600,000, 100,000 ante
Scott Margereson
Scott Margereson

Hand #113: Sang Liu raised to 1,400,000 from the small blind and Scott Margereson called from the big blind. They saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {a-Spades} and again both checked. The {j-Clubs} completed the board and Liu led out with a bet of 1,300,000 which was enough to get a quick fold from Margereson.

Hand #114: Liu raised to 1,550,000 from the button and Margereson moved all in from the small blind for 7,400,000. The big blind folded and Liu stood up from his chair while the dealer verified the chip count.

After getting the count Liu made the call and the hands were shown.

Scott Margereson: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Sang Liu: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

The dealer fanned the {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and it was a good flop for Margereson who maintained the lead and picked up a flush draw. Margereson paired his eight when the {8-Clubs} hit the turn and improved to trips when the {8-Diamonds} completed the board to double up.

Hand #115: Margereson raised to button to 1,200,000 and Roberly Felicio called from the big blind. They went heads up to the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. Felicio checked, Margereson bet 1,000,000 and Felicio folded.

Hand #116: Felicio limped from the small blind and Margereson checked his option from the big. Both players checked the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop and the turn was the {q-Spades}. Felicio checked to Sang who bet 1,150,000 and Felicio folded.

Hand #117: Felicio raised to 1,300,000 and Margereson called from the big blind. They saw a flop of {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {j-Clubs} and again they both knuckled the felt. The {10-Diamonds} hit the river and Margereson bet 2,800,000 and Felicio laid it down.
