Garstick's Sevens not as Good this Time

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Iain Paterson opened to 500 from the hijack and was called by Jonas Garstick on the button. The small blind moved all in for 2,000 and both players called. The flop came down {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Paterson then moved all in for around 2,500. Garstick snap-called and all three players then revealed their hands.

Ian Paterson: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Jonas Garstick: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Garstick was ahead until the {a-Hearts} came on the turn and he would now need a heart to eliminate both opponents. The {9-Spades} on the river changed nothing and Paterson took down the pot.
