Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi

On a first hand, Juha Helppi raised and got called by Diane Levin in the big blind. The flop came {4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Levin check-called Helppi's bet.

The turn fell a {q-Clubs} and Levin check-raised a bet from Helppi, putting the latter at risk for his tournament. Helppi called all-in for his last 22,000 chips total and revealed {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Levin, holding {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}, lost the hand after a {x-Diamonds} fell on the river and Helppi doubled up.

The hand after, the board read {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} when Helppi check-called a bet from Justin Thurlow situated on the button. The river was the {q-Hearts} and Helppi check-called once more but mucked his hand when Thurlow tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a full house.

A few minutes later, Helppi went all in from the small blind for his last 25,000 and got called by Alexander Kuzmin in the big blind. Holding {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}, Kuzmin was in good shape for a double up, facing {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for Kuzmin. The board brought {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Helppi is now back to a stack worth 55,000.
