Iacofano Ships Big Pot to Bust Eichhardt

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Kevin Iacofano (from a previous event)
Kevin Iacofano (from a previous event)

PLO

Things escalated quickly on the flop of a {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board as, according to Kevin Iacofano, his heads-up opponent, Peter Eichhardt, potted and then called off the remainder of a 100,000 stack when Iacofano moved all in.

Kevin Iacofano: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Peter Eichhardt: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Eichhardt had flopped two pair but Iacofano was drawing to a wrap. The {a-Diamonds} completed Iacofano's flush on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river sent Eichhardt to the rail.

Welbourne Can't Call on the River

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

PLO

With 39,200 in the pot, Samuel Welbourne and Harry Pozefsky clashed while sitting in early positions. They made it to the {Q-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} turn and Welbourne fired the maximum. Pozefsky took his time and Welbourne started talking to him.

"Come on, buddy," Welbourne kept encouraging Pozefsky who eventually called.

The {9-Diamonds} river filled jack-ten and Welbourne checked to his opponent. Pozefsky slid in what looked like a 17,000-bet and Welbourne shook his head. Then he threw his cards away and Pozefsky dragged the big pot without showing any of his hole cards.

Laidlaw Coolers Turner

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

PLO

Daniel Laidlaw made it 6,000 in the hijack and Jon Turner three-bet from the next seat. The action returned to Laidlaw and he shoved all in for 56,400. Turner looked at Laidlaw's stack and then made the call.

Laidlaw: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Turner: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Turner saw that he ran with kings into aces and the {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} stayed with Laidlaw who scored a huge double.

Bronshtein Binks Again

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

PLO

In a three-way pot, a player under the gun checked to Yuval Bronshtein on the flop of {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Bronshtein fired around 30,000 in middle position and Eoghan O'Dea shoved on the button. Bronshtein called and they turned their cards face up in a giant pot.

O'Dea: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Bronshtein: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

O'Dea was ahead but Bronshtein had a massive draw along with a top pair. While he failed to spike spades or a straight, the {2-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} gave Bronshtein a backdoor flush and he tackled O'Dea just before the second break of the day.

Trinh and Welbourne Chop

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Hold'em

From cutoff, Minh Trinh raised to 4,500 and his left-hand opponent Samuel Welbourne fired a huge three-bet, making it 17,900. Trinh stacked all of his remaining chips into one huge pile and slid them forward. Welbourne called and they turned up the same hand as Trinh showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Welbourne had {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} board confirmed the chop.
